Monday

On Monday Rubi had some more time to explore the house.

On Monday night we felt like storm chasers as a massive storm (with high winds, and tornado warnings) passed right over us...with out a drop of rain falling on our house.

(this cloud circled the block)

We made it!

We finally made it to Virginia Beach. Rubi was fantastic the entire trip. She never cried, not a single tear for 7 1/2 hours. She did get a little messy toward the end, and decided this (above) was the most comfortable position to sit in...whatever works!

We got out of the car on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge for a stretch, which Rubi loved.

As soon as we got to the house Rubi started to explore her new surroundings.

Wonderful Weekend.

It's been about 80 degrees for the last couple of days, so we decided to make the most of this beautiful weather.

Saturday, we went to the Cherry Blossom Festival at Kirby Park. Rubi loves the park, and loved all of the vendors stationed there.

She really enjoyed watching the all of the performances...and she loved the petting zoo, from a distance.

Sunday we were able to go for a long bike ride, we also had a little picnic under a tree.

decisions decisions

Shopping for Rubi's birthday this year was a little more difficult than last year. Rubi is obsessed with a little show called "Yo Gabba Gabba", which isn't incredibly popular (which means not much in the toy department). So we got a little creative and decided to make a pair of Gabba sneakers.

shh...don't tell Rubi.

spring fever.

We are all ready for vacation (two more weeks)...doesn't Rubi looked thrilled?!?

Oreo.

for a child who has never had an Oreo, isn't is strange that she (like the rest of the human race) opens her Oreo and licks out the icing?

hmm....

Rubi do you want to take a nap?

NO WAY.

Easter morning.

"no way, this is awesome"

Rubi really enjoyed getting candy at 8 a.m., and staring at it fondly until she ate breakfast.

All ready for Grandma's house (and more candy).

99 and counting

On our way into Great, Great Grandma Piscorik's 99th birthday bash.

Rubi FINISHED with pictures.

In the words of Great Great Grandma Piscorik, "It was great that the whole family could get together"...i agree.

Happy Easter.

This picture was taken at school. She's not screaming or throwing up...i would say this was a very successful session (and i'm sure she's smiling on the inside).
