after a good hearty breakfast....and

saying cheese to the camera...(this is Rubi's new "camera" face)....and

Surfing the net with dad...

we went for a bike ride on the boardwalk.

we got about 2 minutes down the boardwalk and realized we needed a real bike.

ahh....beach life.

the end of Cinco de Mayo

We ended the day with what else but Mexican food...which Rubi really enjoyed. The year went by so fast! Rubi has such a big personality, which she's shows off pretty much every minute of every day.

Monday at the beach

Rubi's first dip in the pool wasn't as successful as we had hoped. Grandma is going to be very disappointed. (don't worry we'll keep trying)

Rubi did an excellent job on the ride. She only cried for about 20 min. on the 7 hour trip...otherwise it was a pretty good trip.

Tres de Mayo...

Rubi decided she was way to cool to blow out her candle...so she put it out with her hand (sorry i did not get any pictures of that).

Rubi enjoyed her first taste of frosting...for about 10 seconds. Oh well back to cheerios!
