first trip to the pumpkin patch

we walked through the patch...

we rode the hayride...

we observed the farm...

we were only at the patch for a total of about 10 minutes, it was a little chilly and Rubi wasn't very impressed.

Rubi has been mimicking us all morning, i think ma may have even come out more than once.

First tooth!!!

Rubi spent some time with Grandma & Grandpa tonight, who discovered Rubi's first tooth! You can actually see and feel the tip of a little tooth. Grandpa suspects that another is on its way!!

It has taken some time, but i think Rubi is finally used to her crazy parents and our obsession with the camera.

Best of friends...

Rubi & Sedrick are getting along very well. Although Sedrick is extremely jealous of Rubi he never lets that get in the way of their play time.

To the park!

We decided to take the whole family to the park, probably the last time for the season. Rubi enjoyed that fall leaves...

but like most other activities was indifferent about the swing.

Birthday.

This weekend Rubi attended her first birthday party.



We celebrated Rubi's cousin Tori's 1st birthday!

Getting all ready to get to the party; uploading some tunes for the ride and of course posing for pictures for mom.

The day started off kind of bumpy, Rubi wasn't used to all of the people so her and Dad found a quite couch and talked.

Tori was very interested in Rubi at the party. This is Aunt Tawnee acting as the peacemaker between the temperamental babies.

Rubi decided the party was over about two hours into the day and opted to take a nap. Overall the party was a big success. I think Rubi is happy to be back at home where she's the only baby.

Laughs

five months.

Rubi is 5 months old today! She's now an expert on her belly, she just started laughing out loud, and she's beginning to really enjoy sucking her thumb. She can also roll back and forth from her belly to her back.



This is Rubi's favorite sleeping position, in the morning i often find that she's on her belly frustrated that she can't turn over.
