The cutest parade EVER.

This year Rubi was old enough to partake in her first Halloween parade at school. Apparently the kids practiced all week walking in circles around the class room and singing Halloween songs. Rubi dressed up as PLEX the magic robot from (what else) Yo Gabba Gabba.

We were told if Rubi started to cry when she saw us, we were to jump in the parade and walk with her. This is was great because both Neil and I had the opportunity to walk with her.

Around 10:30 Rubi...ahem - Plex looked very tired, and while the other children were singing songs Rubi decided to sit on Grammy's lap to take a little break.

When the parade ended the kids returned to their class room's for their Halloween party.

pumpkin carving.

This year was yet another first for Rubi, carving pumpkins.

The carving was a success, because there are actual faces on our pumpkins.

Hello Harrison.

Last weekend we went to Philadelphia to visit Harrison Wayne Rittenhouse (aka handsome Harrison).

Surprisingly, Rubi was very gentle with the baby and even offered him slices of apples throughout the afternoon.

We had a wonderful time with the baby, we were even allowed to hold the baby without Rubi throwing a tantrum.

Pumpkin Patch.

Rubi feeding the barn animals, one pellet at a time.

Grammy helped Rubi find her coat pockets...which was very exciting (she's two, yes this excites her).

Mom and Rubi riding the cow train...yes, a cow train.

Dad's favorite part of the pumpkin patch.

Climbing to the top of what i would call a hay castle?!? When they made it to the top, Rubi realized she was on the top of a very large pile of hay and wanted off.

enjoying the tractor ride.

picking the perfect baby pumpkin.

Grandpop pulling Rubi to the register, a picture perfect end to a fun day at the Roba Family Farm.
